Holyrics is free, full-featured and widely used in Brazilian churches. Reuna takes a different path: it opens in the browser on any computer, has a free app for Mac and Windows, and lets the whole team prepare the service from wherever they are.
Where Holyrics shines
Holyrics is strong, free and made in Brazil. Before comparing, it's only fair to say where it does really well.
The program is free, and the optional Holyrics Plan costs between US$2 and US$7 a month. Reuna has a free plan too, but its paid plans cost more.
It integrates with Brazilian scheduling apps such as asaph, LouveApp and Voluts, imports from Planning Center and is used by a great many churches in the country.
In 2026 it added NDI output (text layer), projection mapping with Vertex Mapper, an online API, a Multiview window, Google Drive sync and delayed triggers.

Reuna runs in the browser with nothing to install and has a free app for Mac and Windows for projecting. If the projection computer fails, any other one opens the same service in minutes.
The workspace lives in the cloud: the worship leader builds the service from home, in the browser or on a phone, and each person signs in with their own account and role — Owner, Admin, Operator or Member. Up to 5 members on Pro and 10 on Church.
On Pro and Church, you send the preacher a link to put together the verses and notes for the sermon, and the musicians another one to pick the songs and adjust the chords. You review, approve, and it all lands in the service — without them creating an account.
On Pro and Church, you scan a QR and control the projection from your phone's browser, over any internet connection — no need to be on the same Wi-Fi or install an app.
Animated backgrounds (the basic ones already on Free), Atmospheres, masks and frames, and text animation by letter, word and line on the Pro and Church plans — all with a live preview before it goes on screen.
NVI, ARA, NAA, Nova Bíblia Viva, O Livro and other versions, with offline cache and translation comparison. And if you need help, a chat inside the app goes straight to the Reuna team — a person, not a bot.
Is Holyrics free?
Yes. The program is free, and the Holyrics Plan is an optional subscription: Basic at US$2/month, Advanced at US$3/month (with the online API) and Advanced + Worshipwide at US$7/month. Reuna also has a permanent free plan; its paid plans are Pro (US$12/month) and Church (US$30/month).
Is it worth switching from Holyrics to Reuna?
It depends on the church. If you project from a fixed computer and use Holyrics' integrations with scheduling apps, it serves you very well. Reuna makes more sense when the team wants to prepare the service from anywhere in the browser, receive the sermon and the setlist by link, and project from any computer without installing anything.
Does Reuna have the Portuguese Bibles we use?
Reuna includes Portuguese versions such as NVI, ARA, NAA, Nova Bíblia Viva and O Livro, plus versions in Spanish, English and Italian. You can search by reference or by text, compare two translations and use the offline cache.
Does Reuna work without internet?
Yes, once it's loaded. Live projection happens on the computer itself, so an internet outage doesn't interrupt the service, and the app opens offline with the last saved data from your session (valid for 7 days).
Can I bring my songs to Reuna?
Yes. Reuna imports songs from plain text, OpenLyrics and ProPresenter 6. You can also paste the lyrics directly and organize them into sections (verses, choruses, bridges).
Does Reuna have a mobile app like Holyrics?
Reuna doesn't need a separate app: the remote control opens in your phone's browser via QR (Pro and Church), and the team can view and edit the service on a phone with navigation designed for small screens.
